Flight details in the app are non-existent, you have to go to the mobile website to get any info. Other apps at least link to their mobile site. Worse, the app stops working if you don't use it for a few days. The last couple trips I have had on AA I have had to uninstall and reinstall the app just to check in and get my boarding pass, even on separate legs of the same trip. AA is horrible all around as an airline, and they live down to that here. - **1★ · August 31, 2026** — This app worked pretty much seemlessly for me, but now I *cannot* get logged in. I've uninstalled / reinstalled several times, restarted my phone multiple times, emailed support (with no response whatsoever), and finally called for help, never speaking with anyone from tech support - just a travel rep, who was limited with what she could do. I have a flight in a few days so I NEED to this to work. Please help. - **1★ · August 24, 2026** — Horrible customer service!! The only way to update account profile information is over the phone, but it is impossible to get to a person who will do anything. As I type this, I've been sitting on hold for 30 minutes and counting after supposedly being transferred to customer service. WHAT IS THE POINT OF AN APP IF I CAN'T USE IT TO UPDATE IMPORTANT INFORMATION!! ## About With the American Airlines app, you’re covered with the information you need exactly when you need it.
