This is true for the free Adobe scan app. However the Adobe scan AI premium is a mediocre product at best. They advertise for a 7-Day free trial. I found out the hard way that is not true. Once you start to sign up for the product and you change it to pay by monthly, magically the 7-Day free trial vanishes without any warning. I downloaded the app tried it for 20 minutes - unimpressed. Cancelled the product within 20 minutes. No refunds. Totally wrong! - **1★ · May 12, 2026** — I don't know when they changed it, but I just learned today that the free version no longer supports reading text beyond 5 pages. This was no the case previously. I had to start my free trial to finish scanning my new advance directive, and now I have to go unsubscribe, delete the app, and find something new to use. I'll buy the app but I am absolutely done with subscriptions - **5★ · January 30, 2019** — My phone isn't a fancy brand, but does have plenty of RAM, and the camera is of good quality. That said, I did have to tweak a few settings to get my handwritten (in pencil) notes to show clearly. It didn't take long, however, and now I am really happy with the features that allow me to capture, organize, and store all my notes, and to access them from all of my devices.
