- **1★ · July 10, 2023** — Now charges a service fee for direct bank transfers, so there is no longer ANY payment option that doesn't include additional fees!! I've never seen ANY other company tack on a fee like this. Other places only charge if you pay by credit card! On top of that, they still bill management companies monthly to use their product. Corporate greed, plain and simple. Their software isn't even very good. Do not support these guys!

Appfolio prides itself on being an accounting based property management company when in reality they don't have a clue on bookkeeping/accounting. They will tell you whatever you want to hear to get you to buy their product including stating it replaces quickbooks. To say it has been hell on the accounting side is an understatement and I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone. The onboarding process was also a nightmare.
- **1★ · July 29, 2026** — I have to constantly close the app out and restart the app, just to get a work order to load. it's been this way for over a year. loading receipts in usually is a 10-20 minute ordeal because the app crashes and needs to be closed out and restarted. Definitely the worst app I've ever used!
