The shaking function is well though out for young children lacking coordination and fine motorskills. The locking feature also is great. However, these kinds of apps designed for babies absolutely require some kind of lock or pin to prevent 'busy hands' from triggering the phone's other functions. Our 8mo is constantly swiping and closing the app or activating other non-app processes. And for something that is designed to entertain and delight, it really is frustrating.
