I paid for an annual subscription that has been completely USELESS. This app refuses to send notifications, so unless I remember to open the app and read the in-app alerts, I get nothing out of it. Of course the notifications worked just long enough for me to become a PAYING customer, and then the notifications just stopped one day. I've done the troubleshooting, but the defect is not on my end. Ground refuses to figure it out since it only affects a small fraction of their users. Since then, the developers have reached out with a willingness to research and debug the glitch, so based on that, and my othersise possitive expierience with the apps content, I'm updating my review. The app provides a fantastic way to quickly get the high points of a news article, with the ability to dig deeper if you wish. I also like how the underlying news outlets are ranked for the political leanings. - **3★ · August 18, 2026** — New subscriber and I am still exploring the content and the value. I chose to rate it now to give feedback about the UI. My phone is set with a font larger than the default. The app tends to crop most text areas so I cannot read the last line to titles and headlines. It's ugly, but I know the developers can do better.
