The app is easy to navigate and works fine. I tend to drive a lot for work so I tend to have my Bluetooth on in the truck. However my two biggest complaints are that if I lock my phone it will stop the audio. It also does not have the ability to cast the video to my google chromecast. Please add these options! Update: They fixed all my concerns! Can even use android auto with it now. - **4★ · June 16, 2026** — For some reason the Android app stopped notifying me of new articles. I used to get the badge numbers over the app's icon, but it stopped doing that. Of course I made sure that notifications are allowed in the app and everything is turned on, and I've rebooted my phone. I get badge numbers for other apps' icons all the time, but not for DailyWire+. It's been that way for a couple months. I submitted a ticket to support so we'll see what happens. - **2★ · July 22, 2026** — You can no longer close your phone while listening to podcasts on video mode without them stopping a few seconds later. If you listen to the audio version, this doesn't happen, but then you get all the ads that play during the podcast. I used to be able to play the video podcast with my screen closed and it would continue playing until the episode was done. Now it freezes unless I keep my screen open. I'm very disappointed with this new behavior. ## About What began as a news and conservative podcast company in 2015 has rapidly become the number one voice of counter-culture in America.
