- **3★ · September 5, 2024** — Works well, I used it for several years now, and it's got third party publishers added, but the recent wizards of the coast actions makes me wary of buying digital things. Yes they backtracked twice now but I don't think they're trustworthy anymore. So I can't recommend you use anything other than the basic free version, which only has the bare bones basic races and class features, so you might as well find another program. (That I won't list because wotc likes to nuke sites)

I love the character creation process, and how you can track inventory, skills, spells, etc. The dice rolling is a neat feature, though it doesn't always work quite right - sometimes I have to press multiple times to get a roll to happen. What is nice is that D&D Beyond adds modifiers, doubles damage on a critical hit and other math. Overall, I really like it.
- **1★ · August 30, 2026** — This app used to be something amazing. a place that I could quickly go to when I didn't have the physical books on hand. however even though I have purchased the core books so my players could use them for online play have now become useless. they say you can read or access the books but the spells are just gone. It has compromised my play groups games just becuase we perfer 2014 Ed, and we don't wish to change editions. it was amazing while it lasted but they ruined it.
