It was a nice, easy tool with an optional subscription for fancier filters, tools, etc. Now even the most generic features are paywalled... e.g. locking something as trivial as a drawing tool behind a subscription seems ridiculous when I can do that with my phone's built-in tool. I would gladly pay a one time fee for access to base features, and I'm fine with watching ads to export. But nobody should be paying a subscription for offline tools. - **1★ · July 23, 2026** — This used to be my favorite photo editor. It's unfortunately always been unreliable, but when it's good, it's GOOD. However, more and more, features, filters, and effects that I loved started going behind paywalls. I'd adapt and find new filters, but then those would either disappear randomly, or go behind a paywall. Now, almost EVERYTHING is pay-only. It's completely unusable. - **1★ · July 7, 2026** — I pay for the monthly subscription $11.15 (tax included) at first the app was working amazing! Ai editor was smooth for the first few weeks. But I've notice a pattern, whenever it gets close to Renewal date the features stops working. It would usually stop for 24hrs and I would wait it out. Well 3 days in and the ai editor still isn't functioning. Safe to say I will be canceling my subscription after this. Don't heavily depend on these apps. ## About Transform Your Photos with the Power of AI – Say Hello to Hypic! Ready to turn everyday selfies into stunning masterpieces?
