Yes, there are ads. But, unlike local television, you can pay a very nominal fee – currently $1.50/month or, even better, $8.99/year – and get an ad-free experience. What I really like is all the different types of weather charts... including one showing different regions of my state. - **3★ · July 5, 2026** — A big ad appears on the initial page of the display taking up 1/3 of the screen. This doesn't give a very good impression of the app. But the weather information, when displayed, does appear to be quite accurate as well as easy on the eyes and well arranged.
