I use the slider to go to 4.03 then I use the left arrow to go back to 4x speed and it always seems to work. I usually do it while it's playing but it does seem to work when paused as well. If this helps anyone I'm glad because I hated the problems of getting into 4x myself until I figured this out. However, this was touted to me as an app that could play "anything"! Apparently, I've found a format that it can not play... 3DS Rytmik wav files exported to MicroSD. Technically, it can "play" them, but it has trouble with certain frequencies and makes those sound samples sound like 2 metal pipes scraping together... not pleasant. Also, doesn't want to connect cover artwork with music bought from Bandcamp, even though the art is included in the files! - **1★ · August 21, 2026** — I used to tell people that this was the greatest player app for phones & computers. Now, I'm embarrassed by how the sound keeps cutting all the way out when you get into watching a movie on my laptop (connected to my TV). The only way I can bring it back is to either restart my laptop, but that's only temporary until it cuts out again. The only way I can watch anything uninterrupted is to use the Media Player in my laptop. I've uninstalled it & reinstalled it, but it doesn't help.
