Latest update gushed about how you can upgrade to use AI to search your photos and they pinkie promise it isn't being using to train AI, but it still means they're feeding our photos into some kind of AI. Extremely disappointed as I absolutely love the app and it has worked wonderfully for our family, but one of the main draws was to keep photos of our family off social media and away from AI. - **3★ · May 4, 2024** — It's a great app, and has lots of great things. But first the major problem: Even the paid version has lots of full screen intrusive ads for their own services (like buying photo books). Very difficult to navigate past the ads for elderly, non-tech savvy grandparents. I already pay for premium, so I'd expect to be able to disable them. That said, it really is a great way to share pics of babies and organize them.
