## Featured reviews

- **5★ · Been with me through 4 years of medical school · October 15, 2020** — I originally bought this when a sale was going on prior to starting med school. Now with 4th year coming to an end, I can definitely say this app has been a great supplement to learning, both in didactic and clinical years. The overall set-up and models are great. They’ve continued support for the app and have a solid development history. Depending on your intended use for this, it can be a great primary resource for learning anatomy or as a great adjunct resource for medical training. It’s not perfect just like everything else that exists. In the long run, if you think something like this would be nice to have and you can reasonably afford it, I say go for it. [Now, if they join forces with the folks at Amboss, Anki, Pathoma and Radiopaedia for a seamlessly integrated platform with optional user tagged references to UptoDate, Evernote and Figure1, then it will be darn-near-perfect, I’ll change my review to a 6 and hand over all my student loan money.]
- **2★ · Feature still needed and bugs still apparent · August 6, 2020** — Make an option in the settings to disable gestures (completely disable, not just visually which you can already do). I constantly accidentally hide/fade something I'm looking at by panning because the gestures are so intrusive. This is absolutely needed. I do it dozens of times without even trying and have to be so careful. I reported this months ago via support email and was told this was relayed. I have also reported missing pronunciations months ago and they still haven't been fixed. i.e. costal facet of transverse processes of T01 and scalene tubercle of rib 1. And no, these are not the only ones. It seems every costal facet of transverse processes (don't think there are any other scalene parts) are gone. Yes, I can just read it, but as someone who takes the time to send feedback with steps to reproduce bugs in hopes to see something being improved it is quite frustrating to see that my time was wasted. If it just wants to be ignored then please hang a sign somewhere that says "We don't like making improvements and fixing bugs. Please don't try to be of help." As there's also bugs like going into landmark view, closing the app, then coming back out of the view when the app restarted only to find your view reset. I can no longer find the bug where it unhides hidden parts after viewing landmarks or after undoing/redoing something. The last update didn't say anything about fixing bugs so if I come across it I guess I'll update this review with steps.. as if pretending that will get fixed too :P
- **5★ · Incredible! · January 31, 2018** — The level of detail and apparent accuracy are truly remarkable for any app, and especially for a free app with no ads. There are so many ways to access every area of the body: by system, area, function, groups, and many others. The views can be rotated to literally any angle and zoomed in or out, all with smooth, fluid motion. Body parts can be articulated as they actually operate and viewed from any angle, including from inside the body. For example, the viewer can be inside the skull and observe how the jaw works from an angle not possible in real life. Or the scapula from inside the chest. Layers can be added or peeled away with the touch of a button: bones, then ligaments and tendons, then fascia, nerves, vasculature, whatever there is. Touch another area and detailed descriptions from MedlinePlus appear in drop down boxes. The illustrations are very detailed and realistic. Color can be added to clearly differentiate among elements: fascia, nerves, and tendons, for example. I am amazed by and very pleased with this app. I’d think it would be a great tool for massage therapists, physical and occupational therapists, orthopedic folks, surgeons of all sorts, neurologists, and the like to clearly indicate to patients what’s what. Regular folks could benefit by having it too, I think. Great way to learn and to teach your kids. And no, I don’t work for the company and am not being paid for the review. I’m just so impressed I thought I’d share my enthusiasm for the app. Wow!
