I also use the savings auto withdrawals feature - I save a lot more money not thinking about it or doing it manually and it’s nice to meet small goals, and it’s also nice to have my money held elsewhere where it may take a day or so to receive it, helps cut down on impulsively spending savings. The budget feature is, I find, pretty clunky and difficult to make work properly. I don’t know if it’s not intuitive or what but it’s constantly saying I’m over budget because I can’t factor in EVERY single cost for every single month when it’s often different month to month. The other thing I find frustrating is when I manually edit when my next paycheck will hit, the app will *rewrite* it based on its own algorithm rather than using whatever date I gave it. I get paid on the last Friday of every month and it keeps changing my payday date to, say, the 1st of the month, which is sometimes as many as 3 days later than I will actually be paid, and that matters for payday view. I will edit it multiple times and it always reverts. - **2★ · Needs Serious Improvement but Still Helpful · May 28, 2023** — I’ve been using the app for about a year now and it does make tracking upcoming bills easier. I was hoping that I wouldn’t have to be so hands-on with them, but each week I have to go through and make sure everything is accurate. Usually half of my upcoming bills/paydays are right but I definitely need to edit the day something with credit or debit my account. It seems like when I categorize an expense as a monthly occurrence on the 1st, then the app tells it to occur again in 30 days (the 31st) which makes things incorrect an awful lot seeing as not every month is only 30 days long. March is always a rough month for when bills will occur since there’s only 28 days in February and it’s running on a 30 day countdown to the next bill. My absolute biggest frustration with the app however is the payday scheduling. I don’t work a usual 9-5 with the same amount of money coming to me every Friday. It’s extremely hard to plan correctly and I end up having to rely on my phone’s calendar because you can’t add an upcoming payday amount manually. If only I could do that then this app would be soooo much more useful but instead it’s a job planning what I’ll have when and what bill hits before or after it. This request has been put into the app’s suggestions & requests tab by so many and they just don’t listen to what we want.
