- **3★ · Game broke with most recent update...updated review · October 13, 2020** — Updated review.... The old review was a one star (see old review below). After trying the app a couple times and finding it still frozen, I left it for a day and when I tried it then, it had the Auto button showing again and when tapped, the game finished without problems. Then I got a reply from the developer that I had anymore problems, to contact them using the contact pick under the Settings menu pick. That is all well and good as long the app isn't frozen like in my case. After the app froze I tried to contact them, but there is no way of contacting them on the App's App Store page. So I went to the developer's website, but there is no way to contact there either. So I was left with giving them a bad review to get their attention, which worked. Hopefully they will but a way to contact them on their website now. As mentioned in at least an other review the ads are kind of a pain to wait through with some leaving how you will eventually be able to X out of them. And the jump to the ad isn't done cleanly with an App screen abruptly left to go to the ads. This could be done better and more satisfactory to the user. Old review....Got to the point where I could finish the game with Auto, but when picked game froze with no automatic filling of the piles. None of the picks at the bottom of the screen worked. The only things continuing were the ad at the top of the page and the game clock continuing to run. Exiting the app and restarting doesn't unfreeze the app. I will probably have to restart the iPad or delete and reinstall.
- **1★ · I LOVED this game, but… · February 16, 2024** — I used to love this game. But the ads… I understand ads for a free game, I do, and it doesn’t bother me to have ads. When I started playing this game, there was only two ads after you finished a game. The “x” to exit each ad is really small and quite frustrating because I end up clicking on the ad and having to close the window and try again 4 or 5 times but I get through it. My problem is recently the number of ads have increased dramatically. Every time the game gets paused you have to go through two ads with those extremely small exit buttons. Get a text message while playing? Another round of ads. You don’t even have to open the text. Swap from WiFi to mobile data? Ads again. Screen turn off or a second? Ads again. Oh, a phone call came in? More ads. Taking too long to finish a game? A random round of ads. I just finished a game (won it) and sat through the ads (no biggie). Finish the ads and I got the stats screen that shows up after you win a game, click on the new game button and another round of ads. I’m tired of spending more time swimming through Temu ads than I am playing the game. I hate to lose the records and stats that I’ve accumulated, but I’m deleting this game because all the ads.
- **1★ · App Devs: you’re taking away the fun · January 5, 2025** — Have been playing this app for YEARS. Yes, the ads are frustrating, especially when you get an ad after finishing a round and then another ad immediately before starting another round. I’m good at Solitaire. On average, it takes me around 1-2 minutes to play a round. Sitting through a minute worthy of ads every few minutes of gameplay is exhausting; especially when many of the ads are scams using AI generated versions of Kelly Clarkson and Shark Tank hosts to hawk weight loss gummies. But even more annoying is the new competition play to win card and board designs. Previously, I could play for an overall total of 4-5 hours over 2 days to complete the competition. But the new style requires me to play SO MUCH. I used to be able to play until I got the coins and could move on to a new game, but nope- now you have to complete the game. Each section requires an absurd amount of gameplay- this last section I am on required 48 coins, but each game gives me 1 coin. That’s 48 games for ONE SECTION. Playing 100 games and sitting through all the ads just to get an AI created board background or card design is frankly, ridiculous. I will be deleting this app. This game is no longer fun.
