- **3★ · If it ain’t broke, Don’t fix it · June 27, 2024** — I fell in love with this app about three months ago. Here recently over the last two weeks there have been so many glitches. I performed the update. I purchased a year subscription for all of the features, and now I am unable to download the recordings a simple 12 minute recording I am unable to record as the recording stops 22 seconds into the call. Or 5 seconds into the call. I’ve gone through and deleted several work conversations as an attempt to fix the issue. I don’t believe that I should have these type of issues for an app that I’ve had to purchase a subscription. There should at least be a support number. However, I still need these recordings for my records. This new update that you have provided us has caused problems with the app. One of these phone calls is a personal phone call, in which, my husband sang a song for me and I would love to listen to it again please contact me so that I can have access to these recordings
- **1★ · Works sometimes, or stops within 30 seconds · July 6, 2024** — Paying customer since May 10-July 9. Tried multiple times to find an email address or contact form to reach developer/support, they offer guides/FAQ's, but no support. I gave up and finally ended my subscription through the App Store. Within a minute iCall sent a push notification asking for feedback. Sad cloud screen, three buttons, they do nothing. I screen recorded my experience. The times it didn't prematurely end recording within 30secs, it worked great, even transcriptions. Before I caught on to what was happening, I lost out on important recordings. Then I learned to watch my push notifications, watch for the call participant dropping off. Have backup plans, and even subscribe to competitor apps. At this point I've wasted too much money on this app. If the developer wants to help figure out why this this is occurring, and offers free premium for my wasted time/effort/money, cool, I'll give it another chance. Otherwise you've lost a customer for life. For everyone else, have a backup plan. Pay attention to those cues that the call is no longer recording. You'll have flawless experiences but other times you'll have complete letdowns. Developer needs to care more and offer methods to contact support. For the weekly price of this subscription, what a disappointment.
- **1★ · FALSE ADVERTISING- I just wasted $20 · September 2, 2023** — When you look at this app in the iTunes Store, the intro video shows that the “Contacts” button on your call screen is replaced by a “Record” button, and the app description also mentions “one tap” recording at least twice. Both of those things are entirely FALSE. When you receive an incoming call, you ACTUALLY have to answer the call… quickly flip to the Home Screen… open the iCall app… wait for it to load up… scroll over to the “Call” button (looks like a phone handset)… tap it… then tap the “call that number” message that pops up at the bottom of your phone screen (to dial iCall’s recording service… flip back to your incoming call… wait for your Conference Call button to switch to the “Merge Calls” function… and then finally (after what feels like an ETERNITY… tap that button to start the recording. I’ve tested it all multiple times, and it takes anywhere from 8-10 seconds to actually begin your recording… IF you got all of the steps right on the first try. By that time, your caller has already identified himself/herself (and most likely the purpose of the call) so you’ve missed out on possibly one pr two of the most important aspects of the recording. I wish that I would’ve read more of the reviews. Too bad I can’t get my $20 back. This app is worthless.
