- **4★ · Good and Bad · August 14, 2026** — This device has really helped me on days that I may not have lost weight or I may have gained a little. A lot of times it’s just showing me that I gained a muscle which weighs more than fat. So in that context, it is an Excellent device. My only gripe, which no amount of communication has been able to fix, is that there are certain days where my left leg shows I lost fat but my right leg shows I gained fat or muscle with the difference being comical. It is the same with my left and right arm. Of course that doesn’t make sense. Conversely it also will say I gained muscle on one side and lost on the other. I just ignore those and just go by the trunk or body area. I have asked them multiple times about it but it only seems to help a little if I drink a good amount of water when I first wake up. The only problem with that is that also my weight would go up. Maybe me drinking the same amount every day would make the weight a moot point but even with water it does this weirdness, so it’s a conundrum. Lol. If you can get it on sale, I would say go ahead however, paying full price for this device when many times the results are just not sensible would be annoying. It does show visceral fat which is super important. Just that measurement alone is worth it. You can easily turn off the limb measurements and just go by your trunk measurements if that discrepancy annoys you too much. It’s not all the time but enough that it is irritating.
- **4★ · Pos, Neg, and Suggestions · December 21, 2025** — I have the Hume Pod and the Hume Band. Overall I like the product. Most of the time it works the way it should, and it gives me really good insights into my health. I love that the app is free, especially since the equipment was quite the investment up front. The things that could be fixed/improved... The Hume Band dies quickly. I'm lucky if it lasts a full two days before needing a full charge again. Also, any time it syncs with the app, if I have any other Bluetooth connected to my phone (including earbuds) it cuts the connection. This is incredibly annoying, especially if I'm on a call and my band decides to randomly sync without any prompting. Suddenly my call will drop or cut out really bad. I've never had any other product do this before. For the Hume Pod, the actual weigh ins take several tries. I've had my products for over a month now, I've watched quite a few videos and have read online reviews as well to find the best way to "weigh in" and it still takes me at least 4-5+ tries. Some mornings I've had to give up and not weigh in because I just don't have the time for it to keep failing on me. The final thing, I'd like to ask for what "normal" or "typical" ranges are. I know everyone is different, but I have a few areas where I am out of range, but I have no clue how far out of range I am. Can something be added in the future for users to see a range of "typical" ranges for each area?
- **5★ · disconnects often · July 5, 2026** — It disconnects at least one or two times a week and normally I’m able to get it paired back up right away. But this last time it happened I had to do a hard reset. Which helped get it paired again. For anyone that’s having this issue here are the fixes they sent me. f your Hume Band is not appearing in the list of Bluetooth devices, please try the following: Place the Band on its charger. While it is charging, press the side button five (5) times in succession. This performs a physical reset of the Band and should make it discoverable again so you can reconnect it through the Hume Health app. I woke up this morning and already had to pair it again to my phone. I’m not sure what the problem is but they have an amazing customer support team and they are quick to respond. That earns them a 5 star but my band is disappointing me! The inconsistency of it staying paired is not something I should be having to fix all the time just to get my numbers. I just don’t how accurate they are with long gaps of time were it’s not working. I do like it though as it helps me move in a positive direction for age and overall well being. I’ll update my review if my bad stops working completely and I have to do another hard reset. I bought it a year ago and I’m thinking before the warranty wears in August it should be replaced. I have a month so let’s see how many pairings I have to do.
