- **5★ · And exciting option · July 13, 2023** — I have been using the service for several years now, and absolutely love almost everything about it. It brings such joy to so many people and although I hate the fact that people don’t write cards much anymore and send them through the mail, this is an amazing alternative. The customer service representative are very helpful and quite lovely themselves. There is one problem, however, I sent so many of these cards that I’m running out of choices because many go to the same family and they all see the of the relatives. When you want to send a card, you want it to be something the person has not seen or received before. There needs to be more of a selection more that are funny. Thank you so much though for everything because people absolutely love them.
- **2★ · iPad app?? · May 26, 2026** — I would give 5 stars but i am VERY disappointed it cannot be used with my iPad. I thought by now it would be possible. AI is available though!! I am up in age and the large print of the iPad is a big help. I tried several times to line up a card on my phone but it took a long time-no thanks to my thick fingers. Then it seemed to want to go as a text- no problem as i had the mobile # of the recipient. Then it went immediately to recipient with no chance to put in the date to be sent. I really wish there would be the possibility of the app for iPad especially to help persons aging with vision problems and thick fingers!
- **1★ · Frustrated and Ready to Delete – What Happened, American Greetings? · July 27, 2025** — I’ve been using the American Greeting Card app on iPadOS for several months and, at first, it worked beautifully. I could create and share cards with friends on Facebook without a hitch. But now? It’s a broken mess. Here are the major problems: 1. Social Media Sharing No Longer Works After successfully sharing several cards, the app now crashes every single time I try to share one to Facebook. It locks up immediately after selecting the recipient and clicking “Share.” What ends up posted is just a static image of the card’s cover—and clicking on it gives an error saying “content is no longer available.” Not a great look for a greeting card app. 2. Same Problem on the Website Thinking it might be an iPad issue, I tried using the web version instead. Nope. Exact same issue. So it’s clearly a platform-wide failure, not a user problem. 3. Forced to Log In Every Time For some reason, I now have to log in every time I open the app. That didn’t used to be the case, and it’s gotten very tedious. I’m not sure if this is a bug or some new “feature,” but either way—it’s frustrating. At this point, I’m done troubleshooting. This app went from useful to unusable. If it doesn’t get fixed soon, I’ll be deleting it and moving on to one of the many competitors who seem to have figured out how to make an app that actually works.
