I really did I downloaded the waze app, spent and hour picking all my options for navigation but I just can't seem to get to a comfort level with waze.. I don't know if I just am resistant to change or if I'm just comfortable with MapQuest but I love this app.. I feel like it has updated to keep up with all the features of the newer apps and has a few upgrades that I love.. the mdot cameras option is absolutely brilliant.. I find myself putting in my destination looking for the closest camera and checking the almost (updates every 15 mins) live traffic cam so I can see what's ahead.. not just traffic but if I don't know where I'm goin I can see what roads I'm heading towards look like.. I love fhe layers and that I can put them in order per my priority level.. just everything... so ladies if ur looking for an app that gets u where ur goin giving u only the information u want along your route this is the best of the best.. your not straining to hear.. your music isn't being interrupted.. your not tapping your breaks looking around for whatever incident waze is warning u about if U r driving with someone and talking u r not interrupted every 30 seconds with reports about disabled cars on the shoulder.. about every stopped vehicle on the shoulder of the road.. I find it very stressful driving when u r constantly tryin to listen to the app give u information that isn't goin to affect your drive.. this is the best app to drive with hands down
- **5★ · Yessss · September 4, 2026** — Did I download them bc they didn’t change the Gulf of Mexico and Lake Ontario? Yes I did, BUT, I’m also pleasantly surprised!! I love the video game vibes. I love the Point A and Point B, how cute!! I love the lil unicorn, I feel like a lot of avatars are possible. Love that you can save places to make regularly visited places easy to select. I like the beta version map quest voice the best, the others would be too distracting for me but I love that they are very video game-esk. And it’s cute when they say quest complete when you reach point B. Some bugs I see that I hope they’re working on; the map doesn’t always reorient itself when I’m driving, so I have to click the location button to get recentered. I don’t like that the road completed doesn’t disappear, I don’t wanna see where I’ve already driven, it creates excess visuals I think. When searching the web for places, they can be opened automatically with the other map apps, but not map quest, I did do the add to favorites or whatever is prompted when you first download the app. When hooked up the car screen, Siri isn’t available for voice input, so you either need to park to allow the keyboard or load it on your phone so it populates on the car play screen. Thanks for not renaming the bodies of water!
- **5★ · Great Navigation app · July 7, 2024** — Second#2Update: it’s great and easy to understand and use but seems like the developer just left it be! An update is a must otherwise everything else is great. Update: please update the app, it’s a great app and it’s disappointing if you just let it be… I love this app! Easy to use and many features it offers like the layouts and re-route, and gives you few options to pick from the beginning And Many more:) I pick this over waze or google map unless I get in trouble Just one thing to mention and for first time it gave me a little trouble was: the final destination was close to highway (28 North in VA) and in the highway stopped by saying I’m arrived and location is on the right! instead of take me from different road and take me to the address where I could park! Sorry it’s hard to explain but I think you got what happened. So if there is any way to fix it to take the user closer to the address would be great so I don’t have to stop in the highway where I could see the building but not a great place to leave my car lol But thanks a lot for making this great app available for us:)
