It presents a good example of the printed magazine, which I can have with me at all times on my iPad. The page turning animation could be simplified, but the zoom function and the navigation system is superb. I'm not sure what the other reviewers are complaining about as this app is like most other magazine apps where you get the app and then make purchases from it. Each issue is $4.99, and to get a big discount buy a subscription, just like the paper version. An issue of the magazine is included with the app purchase of $2.99 so you can try out the magazine, this is a lot cheaper that the gas it would take to get me to the nearest newsstand. This is all explained in the app description and perhaps these people should read stuff before complaining! Woodworking Plans and Projects is very readable, the magazine has superb content and is packed with great projects and techniques. You buy the app and get 1 magazine, then they want you to pay $4.99 for each magazine you want to see. You can at least preview a magazine in the store before you buy it, but not here.
