- **4★ · One of the best for free! · June 24, 2017** — I shouldn't complain about the ads since it's free but they can be a pain. Sometimes the full screen ads won't allow you to X out of them. 95% of the time it works great though. It's nice to know what's going on around my neighborhood! Since the last iPhone update, I've been getting bumped off a lot! I'll play my game, which I've done several times in the past with no problems but now it's very annoying! Now I'm conflicted on my rating. Please fix! June 2017: Since my last post, I've learned that I have to update all my apps for this to work appropriately! I quits on me if I have anything pending. Also once you've established your station and if you can successfully "X" out of the ad, go the one page back, where you chose your station and then you can listen while doing other things on your phone without getting bumped off! I think leaving it on the clock page leaves it vulnerable to quitting! Now that I've figured all of this out, I can enjoy it! Thanks!
- **4★ · Good for entertainment and safety. · March 22, 2025** — I find the radio station portion of this app very entertaining. I use some of the stations for background while doing house work or relaxing. The scanner channels can also be entertaining, but useful for safety as well. I am visually impaired and therefore make safety while walking or traveling my city a priority. I use the police scanner channels to troubleshoot. I listen for emergency activity in real time, and use that to avoid problem areas where I may be taking the bus or disembarking from our trolley system. My home is situated in a place where I may have to walk a long distance to catch the local train. I have used the app before to avoid problem areas in my walking path.
- **1★ · Free is no excuse for so many ads · November 3, 2025** — Just because the app is free doesn’t mean it’s ok to have commercials every two minutes . You ruined a great app with greed . Then when you’re trying to listen to a police call but a commercial comes on every time and mutes the call so u have to hear the commercial instead it defeats the purpose of the app, especially since u can’t even mute or skip the commercial. You ruined your own app with greed . I understand the need for ads but this is overkill. Cmon , an add every two minutes ? Can’t even finish one song without having at least 3 ad breaks and if it’s a rescue or police call? Then it’s an ad every two minutes and the call itself is muted till the ad is done so you miss the call . Good job ruining your app. Could have been the best app of this type in the App Store but you made it the worst because of ad revenue . You lost money and downloads by thinking you can get rich by using more ads in your app but instead people just uninstall it and get a better scanner app , one with a normal amount of ads in it instead of the mess you made on this ruined app .
