## Featured reviews

- **5★ · Best app for Type 1, great support · July 24, 2023** — 24 July 2023. I have now been using this app many times daily for 7 years and recently there are two glitches that are annoying. First, if I do not log my i insulin or meal at the time then go to correct it, when I touch the time instead of just opening the time with the current time on top it counter goes to 00:00. Second, when putting in meal items I cannot easily search for non standard items for a particular meal, and my recipes do not show up in the search bar sometimes. I started using this over two years ago when I was diagnosed and it is what I use most on my phone from the time I get up and check my fasting BG and take my basal dose, through logging food, activity and ten or more BG readings a day to when I last check my BG before bed. I was not pleased at first with the new update. The biggest problem of the several glitches is that when I input my insulin in half unit increments the app rounded up! Not good if I did not remember the actual amount. It could have led to serious lows or highs. I wrote to support and got an immediate response AND it was fixed quickly as well as a couple of other slight glitches. While I was hassling with odd logging I downloaded several other apps but did not find a single one that was the equal of MyNet DiaryD, even with the glitches, some minor and that one major. One I could not read and most were missing one or another aspect that I keep track of every day. Thank you, dudes of the D-Diary. My life would be way difficult without you.
- **5★ · Use it and lose it · June 22, 2017** — Cataloging everything that passes your lips can be very tedious and all the times I tried writing it down I never seemed to be where my log was. With this app and our age of technology, I'm never far from my phone. I love that it interfaces with Fitbit and other apps. Yes the food library is a bit limited but the app provides ways to help them help us. It also allows you to put in your favorite recipe and account for things you'll never find in another place on the planet. It conveniently lets you scan the upc and in most cases, the dietary data is provided. When it doesn't, it's easy as pie to take a pic within the app of the front of pkg and of the nutritional data and they update the system as we collectively provide data. You can keep track of anything you want in this app and it's especially helpful to see trends. It's always a good thing to raise one's awareness and through the use of this app I've been able to significantly lower my A1C, lose 20 pounds over the last year and increase my awareness of what I'm doing to and for my body and health. The spreadsheet is miraculous to review with your doctor and see trends that support your health. My doctor commented, while I showed her the graph on her screen at the Ofc that she wished all her patients were willing to use technology to help themselves. It inspires me to see the guy descend the slope each time I'm able to show another pound gone. Yay for this app!
- **5★ · Great app and great support team · June 14, 2024** — Update: Wow! Support team responded to my direct message and communicated that the insulin tracking issue was being worked on and would be fixed in a few days. Here we are a few days later and the app works like a dream again. Well done! This was a terrific app but the latest update made the app instantly useless for diabetes management. The Dashboard shows an Insulin tracker. Pretty good right? Nope. Choose this tracker and the next page DOES NOT INCLUDE ANY INSULIN DATA. Instead it shows many other health trackers but NO INSULIN info whatsoever. WTH?! I reach out to support and they state that it’s working they way they intended. With the “update” I’m supposed to now find the My Health section (which is buried at the bottom of the page behind other useless data) and then search for the insulin tracker. Why can’t it just be found under the supposed insulin tracker from the dashboard??!! The best part is that once you finally find the insulin tracker, it now shows a useless bar chart by default which does not include any meaningful past data. Just a bunch of bars that are supposed to indicate insulin units but is so jumbled it renders it, well, useless. Guess I’ll need to find a new app. Frustrating.
