Christian Mingle - Dating App

I downloaded this yesterday and I woke up to someone who likes my profile and they left an intro. I couldn’t find a way to respond and honestly I was confused so k was looking it up on google. But then I realized I need a subscription to be able to respond; and I feel like I’m ghosting the guy even though I quite literally just can’t talk to him. Personally I find that ludicrous, the reason you go on a dating app is to find people that you have common ground with, talk to them, and maybe get into a relationship. Do I just have to hope that the person I like also likes me? Or do I just have to hope they have a subscription just so we can maybe chat and it ends up not working out anyway? Genuinely how am I going to expect to meet someone when I can’t even answer their question without paying an absurd amount of money? And even then the subscription doesn’t give you much in the first place. I would be all for a subscription if it gave me more OR was cheaper.

This week I downloaded the Christian Mingle dating app. Everything was going well as far as meeting and talking to some men. About two days in the entire website must have gone down because I could log in. Then yesterday I had been blocked from my account right after sending to someone I was talking to. I have tried to reach out in several ways to get support with no avail. Their contact support button leads to a page saying that their site is currently down for maintenance.. I also tried emailing them to the email address that they offer with no response. I looked them up on Instagram and decided not to try there because they haven’t been active on that page for a couple of years.. And I looked them up on Facebook and the last time they posted on Facebook was this past February. I still sent a message just in case there, but there has been no response. This morning I tried sending a reply back to the original email I had received when I first signed up and I automated email response that they were forwarding that email. I’m hoping they will do so and restore my account. I did pay for a three month membership. However, I am going to go back to Apple, and see if I can get a full refund. As it hasn’t even been a week using this app! This is not just the app. This is also online on their website through a computer. Please be careful, you may want to just move on instead of wasting your money and time! If anything happens, there is no one to help!

While there are cosmetic improvements to the app from the last time I used it, it is the worst dating app I’ve used. Every time I login I have to re-save my data collection permissions, it ignores the filters I set, it is slow and there are a lot of abandoned profiles. I’m also not convinced that the app actually shows you anyone who liked your profile or show any one you liked your profile, and at nearly $50/ month to find that out for sure and to see my likes is entirely to expensive. Deleting the app and likely will not try it again unless the experience is greatly improved
