This app does not work. I've tried on my phone and my tablet and I cannot actually use it. Downloads start at 10% and never progress past that. EDIT: I tried downloading a story that was at the wrong level and that worked, but I still cannot download the correct story. App also put me in the wrong language even when signing in with an account that was already learning the right one on another device. And anything you do it asks if you want to start a free trial. For a broken app.

After reading just 1 story in the free mode I immediately decided this was worth a 1 year subscription. I think this app is wonderful for training the brain to develop a flow in processing the language. I think it's important to have at least one app that's teaching, 1 app that may be more of a fun/game type learning app and 1 app specifically focused on just reading or listening.

This app is not functional. I paid for a yearly plan on a discount for $19. I read through the first lesson but I could not access any more lessons. The issue is that one cannot go between lessons without completing the entire module. however, the system is not registering that I completed the module. so it is stuck. In addition, there is rampant use of AI & the generated is full of mistakes. I would be willing to retry this if stories were read by native speakers & vetted for accuracy.
