Its an excellent port but it constantly crashing because I lost WiFi for a few seconds is extremely frustrating. Pros: The mobile controls are very intuitive, and I'm surprised at how well it runs on a Google Pixel. I don't normally bother with mobile ports of bigger PC games like this, but it genuinely is a seamless experience Cons: The DRM is infuriating. Having to exit out to the main menu, and in some cases losing 10+ minutes of progress, CONSTANTLY in a single player game is inexcusable

Pains me to write this review but complete waste of time and I cannot believe "the tower" is a mission that you offer within the first 1 month of game time. Did not realize that they had a completely unbeatable campaign mission that they push you to do as early as possible that you are not equipped to do, and that automatically results in the loss of campaign if you lose the mission which is unlike every other mission where you lose your entire squad and are fine. How hard is it to mark missions

Going into this as an XCOM 2 PC player, I initially bought it thinking the controls would be horrible and it'd be a lagfest on my Galaxy S21 FE. Neither ended up being true. The game plays well, the controls are basically foolproof, and besides poor antialiasing, basically the whole damn game made it into this thing. Genuinely can't tell the difference between this port and the PC version. There's even some quality of life features like Overwatch and Evac All. Color me impressed.
