Even though several of my Android weather apps could provide lightning notification, I prefer this lightweight app as my singular lightning notifier. I choose not to run my weather apps with their notifications enabled. Such notifications from weather apps in addition to my location enabled are unnecessarily demanding of my battery. This app is accurate, dependable, and very easy on my battery and other system resources. It serves flawlessly its intended purpose for this ham radio operator.

Ads make this unusable!!! It was a great app until they added the ads that take over the screen. I understand they want you to upgrade, and ads are needed if not, But the ads hijack the complete screen, and often there is no way to x out the ad, it just blocks the app and you have to kill it. I loved it last summer, but now I'm so done with it....

It's a great ap, a little heavy on ads but hey, I'm using the free version. Some negative reviews could be solved by studying it more and read the description. A HELP link would be helpful. The radar is too fast, is not displayed in real time. Also hard to see thru the radar to present location. Need a choice of more detailed maps. Overall it's a good ap. Doubt if there is a better one out there.
