I read the lead-in synopsis of Total AV in a pop-up ad and a bottommost red rectangle said it was FREE. Post installation, however, a notice showed a charge for the app. In my generation (I am 79YO), words such as FREE don't have floating or ephemeral meanings. FREE = FREE. What is going on? Is there another version hidden inside? Perhaps, methinks, the company needs to address this contradictory issue as it is more than a little misleading.

I was going for the $1.99 package. While signing up a better deal for $40 popup, so I chose it instea. Look at my credit card statement it showed $38.95 for annual fee. Great, no problem. Get a notification later that $118.00 had been charged. There were about 6 charges from TotalAV with some every type of subscriptions added. Why would I need every subscriptions you all have when the one I attempted to purchase said it covered everything. A big rip off! Then to have to download your app.

Unfortunately I opted for the full year at a discount, cuz right away I was presented with something g else but I thought it was what I had just agreed to as the price was the same so I clicked on that and of course was added to my total, then a third year subscription was offered at the same price. Again, thinking it was what I had already tried to order, I clicked and then there was NO WAY to remove the other two subscriptions that I didn't want. So now. guess I'm going to need to grovel.
