Wiggle Escape: Snake Puzzle

I am so sick of ads/commercials just to keep playing the games. In the last week I have downloaded and deleted four other games because they forced ads at every round or two!You’re not on a time limit and if you make a mistake, you don’t have to pay for it by watching an annoying ad. I’ve deliberately made mistakes to see if I could continue to play the same game and yes, I did it three or four times restarted my game and I kept going. This is a great game if you want to relax and have fun. And you pay once for NO ADS you can play as long as you’re enjoying it. Yeah, no ads. But should I start having ads I Will be back to report and then—- you got it—- DELETE!!!

I’ve tried so many games where they let you play nonstop for, say, the first ten levels. Then the ads start creeping in, then they start being more frequent, then they’re between almost every game. I never got to play more than two in a row. The thing is, these types of games go so fast that I start feeling like I’m spending more time watching the ads than playing games. So I timed it, and I was right. I finished one game in 30 seconds, then had to watch an ad for 45 seconds. Then I actually got to play two games in a row, which took me a minute and a half, but the ad after that was 47 seconds. Almost a full minute. I got so frustrated I deleted the app. Too bad, because it really is a fun game - well-designed, different shapes of the puzzle at every new level, the snakes are cute and blink their eyes while waiting to be set free. I think I even saw one roll its eyes.

I’ve played a lot of arrow puzzle games since fetch has been featuring them. This is the worst one I’ve played in comparison to the other ones I’ve played. It doesn’t have a dark mode which is a feature I’d love that others have. The worms are also not the cutest and don’t look like they move smoothly because of their lumpy shapes. But the worst part is that my tap keeps missing. In to other games I’m surprised at how my tap almost never misses the arrow I’m going for— even zoomed out far. In this game I’m constantly missing the worm I’m trying to tap. Either I tap and nothing moves or worse, I tap a worm that I’m not trying to tap. I don’t know if the other games have some kind of intuitive selection that makes tapping more successful, but this one doesn’t. I feel like I miss more than I get it on the first tap.
