The more you play this game the more you want to play, and the more complex and strategic it becomes. I almost stopped playing a few minutes in because it seems like pure chance but do not do that, as you unlock items and cards it's changes into something else and you'll find yourself addicted to reaching the "end" of the game and still coming back.

Making modifiers (memory cards) consumables is a baffling choice for a game where you can lose first round if you get bad relics. A core feature of roguelites for me has always been modifiers to keep things fresh and trying new rulesets. For them to be RNG to get and then losing them on a bad run only to have to grind runs to maybe get it back is just an exercise in tedium. Otherwise it has good core mechanics and is fun, I just cannot fathom why they chose this system.

Really well made game, lots of fun to hunt for secrets and try to break records. My only problem is a consistent bug that happens often when I close and reopen the game. I was doing a world record run and went to sleep after getting to deadline 27. When I reopened the game in the morning, I went from 3e226 coins the previous night, to 0 coins and 0 rounds left in the deadline, so I instantly lost. It took hours to get to that point, and I don't think I'm playing again until this bug is fixed
