CarGurus: Used & New Cars

used to love this app. but the new way to search compared to the old way is terrible. also you used to be able to click on a single Pic of the car and it would automatically go into a scroll list of all the pictures of the car. now whe you do that it brings up a scroll list of pics of different sizes and also the info bar can't be hidden. so you only get about 3/4 of your screen to where you can see pics. Cargurus, please go back to the way the searches were a few months ago. it was much better

Basic features are broken. You can't create a search for a car unless there's at least one car in your area matching the search, otherwise it disables the search button. Another issue is if I create a search and subscribe to emails, it will spam me daily with "suggested" cars that don't even match the search criteria. It keeps checking the delivery options box on my search even though I didn't save it with it. If that doesn't sound right to you you need to familiarize yourself with your own app.

Of the car buying apps, it's good and bad. I use it for the good features it provides. The problem is with financing. When you are pre-approved, you are unable to put your own terms in because they override any adjustment. The financial institution confirmed that it was absolutely possible to buy a car without the suggested down payment.CarGurus makes it difficult to see real payment options due to their recommended amount that was more often than not way too much and unchangeable. as
