Not a reliable app. The most common problem is it will unexpectedly close. Another glitch is "unable to connect" message. Absolutely pales in comparison to major news apps. One should not have to endure ads that obscure the text and photos of a paid subscription. 08/26/2026 update: The app now duplicates paragraphs within articles intermittently. No updates are available. I attempted to contact CJ regarding the glitch but have had no response.

I like the app, but it no longer stays signed in. When you select an article in notification or you simply just open the app after a few minutes it makes you sign back into your account to read the story. It used to stay signed into your account & allow you to read articles without always having to sign back in everytime. It would be nice if it could be fixed, but customer service has never helped with this issue, so be prepared to always sign into your account each time you read an article

This app suffers from a couple major flaws. For one, it doesn't handle notification settings correctly. In the app I've opted out of sports news alerts, and yet I get one or two push notifications a day about sports. Also, when I do click on a notification, it almost always asks me to subscribe. Problem is, I'm already subscribed. The app automatically logs me out nearly every time I close it and I have to log back in every time I want to read an article. As a paying subscriber, I'm disappointed
