Camtro

It's a decent camera system. Insanely easy to set up and while it is $30 a camera, you get a full year of cloud storage which is cheaper than Blink/Wyze/Ring brands. The only problem I've had with it, is that the detection zones will either reset to everything or reverse and detect the exact area you don't want it to. Would like that fixed but overall, it's simple, cheap, and does its job.

Clear imagery, easy to set up, battery life is good. However, in the few months, the Camtro subscription add covers the picture for 3 or 4 seconds. very frustrating if you hear something and you have to wait for the ad to pass before you can see what it is. While I understand (but hate) advertising, this really takes away from the purpose and meaning of a security camera, as you already have to start the video and wait for a couple of seconds for start up.

I haven't tried it yet, but first thing I saw when it opened was "contains ADS"!!! .I hate ADS with a passion, if I knew this had ADS would never have bought it. but will hold off a rating until I use it a while for a fair rating. I don't want to see a commercial pop-up while seeing someone breaking in, and it looks like a really well-built camera with good features ... except the ads
