Surf Captain

I’ve been using the website version of Surf Captain since day one so I was super excited to see the app was available. Surf Captain is the most accurate and easiest to use surf forecasting I’ve ever found. I upgraded to the premium version for the extended forecasts so I could plan out when it’s worth surfing and when it’s worth skipping. It’s been so helpful in that way for me. If you want to get the most out of your water time, this is the app you want.

I use surf apps to assist in forecasting conditions prior to diving. I really liked MSW before it became Surfline, which I don’t find as user friendly. I’ve also been using Swell Info, but it was bought out and doesn’t work half the time anymore. On the lookout for other apps, I found Surf Captain. I see this app as a combo between the old MSW and current Swell Info, a wish come true. Thank you Surf Captain!

Surf Captain is a fantastic and simple app that fills the shoes left by MSW. The team at Surf Captain really knows what they are doing and are more qualified to provide their service - simple and accurate surf forecasting - than any other team out there. With this app there isn’t any funny business, over-hype, over-calling, weird color scales, or purposeful forecast tampering. It’s simple call-it-as-it-is surf forecasting at a great price.
