NOAA for accurate weather forecasts
NOAA, The premier scientific authority on our atmosphere, oceans, sea life and weather systems are under severe assault by the Trump administration. It is one of the great preeminent scientific bodies in the world and we must do all we can to see that the NOAA and USGS continue to work unhindered to keep Americans and all peoples safe and informed about our climate, current weather patterns, the threat of earthquakes volcanic activity, tsunami and emergencies, and all pertinent sciences to keep us the best informed citizens on the planet.

Bad UX, terrible app
I paid for the premium app and regret it. This app is very poorly designed. I can see rain as it’s moving in and that’s about it. I bought this for tornado safety. When you are in the app there’s no where to find current weather warnings, and I still don’t understand what the “tornado tracker” button does. I have not ever been able to use the app to gauge whether there is a tornado coming. There are green dots that appear when you select tornado but no explanation about what they are. The app gives you locked screen notifications that seem important and relevant to your area, but when you open the notification, it just opens the app. There’s no way to view those notifications in the app. They are just gone. All this app can reliably do for me is tell me the same sort of hourly weather forecast that the native apple weather app does.

UX lacking. Offers nothing of value for high price
This application is very cheaply made. Sure it has a map, but you can tell the radar image is segmented and you can’t zoom in to see something coming toward you it doesn’t give you any of the storm when you click on it. You don’t have any way to see different layers like lightning and rain Like you can on many others it’s very high price but offers nothing in return. To the author, if you think that I miss something, I’d be glad for you to show me how the app actually provides value
