Love the app I know most people don’t but also helps to have the app were others who have one doesn’t connect to your jbl while using it with out the. You can not control it and others can take over your speaker. Always use the app to pervert someone else from logging in to your speaker I have no issues had the app for 3 years great system to have I have no regrets at all I am happy and love my speaker as well. Thank you jbl … I am in the process of getting more than one speaker and you can pair them together or you can use them separate they do have sorest codes for each speaker. It great so if you are a first time buyer like my self you will enjoy it and easy to set up. Have fun and enjoy your music. Thanks jbl for being great and awesome.

Don’t waste your time.
The little things this dev(s) do from the very moment you open the app for the first time just to annoy you enough to buy their subscription is going to be a waste of your time. The obnoxious full page ad blocks to give these guys money before even seeing if the app works was so unimaginative and blatantly hustling you that it’s genuinely insulting. If there’s even a free trial to know if this thing works, I didn’t even get to see it thanks to really aggressive subscription ad blocking me from even finishing setting up the app. (Edit: the ads asking you to subscribe are unskippable for a few seconds, which doesn’t sound bad until you realize they’ve made it so it takes over the screen every couple of clicks - or if you leave the app at all for a second). I’m glad they convinced me to delete this app before I could waste my money on it along with my time. Even if it works, I’m not supporting that kind of “tricky” behavior from an app creator.

Hook, Line and Sinker
While the Speaker Connect app looks great with its clean, user-friendly interface, it fails to deliver beyond appearances. The free version is overly basic, acting as a music player with an equalizer—functions that are already built into most devices. Its claims of connecting speakers are redundant since your device’s OS handles this natively. The premium features, volume boosting and multi-speaker connectivity, are the only real highlights. However, the pricing is exorbitant—$4 per week or $50 annually. The weekly plan feels like bait, forcing users to commit to the annual option. Even so, $50 for such limited functionality feels excessive, especially since it’s a recurring fee. Adding to the frustration, the app bombards users with ads for its premium version, complete with delayed-close buttons. This intrusive approach only reinforces the feeling of being milked for money. In summary, Speaker Connect prioritizes profit over value. Its sleek design can’t justify the lack of substance or the aggressive monetization tactics.
