NBA Collect by Topps®

I’ll be honest, i never could get into digital cards but my buddy Scott wouldn’t shut up about NBA Collect. I end up giving it a shot & I kind of wish that I didn’t. I’ve spent so much time on that app, I can’t stop & it’s messing with my workdays. Gets very addicting, only gripe is that I keep getting booted on my iPhone & Topps is killing me on the parallel dupes but the app is still really sweet. I haven’t been on there for very long & I already have cards that sell for high dollar on eBay. The best part, I haven’t paid a cent yet.

If you’re someone who is looking to waste less money making impulsive purchases of packs to rip, chasing high value cards with lottery odds, this is a great tool to curb those urges. You’ll still be obsessed and addicted because you’ll still be actively looking at the hobby, but you will spend less real life money choosing to click on this instead of buying more packs online to ship to yourself lol Ironically you can spend money in/on this app as well, but if you do so atleast you have a chance of winning real life prizes! Now at that point it’s probably best to just invest in the real thing… but playing this is satisfying to the addiction and i’d say it’s better to even spend 20-50$ on this app every few months if youre urges are really bad vs buying hundreds of dollars of packs that end up yielding very little value . Find the balance that works for you ! I’ve yet to spend money on this game, but what i’m saying is better to maybe end up spending some pocket change on an app like this every now and then vs hundreds of real life cash on packs that rarely amount to anything anyways 🤷🏻‍♂️

Contests are lacking to be mild and not unkind. Surprised to see that after all the successes and failures of Topps Kick,Huddle,and Bunt NBA Topps contests are quite boring in that only 10% of the card variety levels and boosting(s) are used. It’s a HUGE miss/thud whatever your choice in that the higher boosts not being utilized makes there collectibility a zero unless your after more (OUT FOR SEASON) Jason Tatum base card awards,or just like the look of the cards in a specific color border. Also the insert cards are a bigger miss since they SHOULD be boosted higher yet Than base cards and are NOT or are meekly boosted annoyingly enough…lastly since the cc are sky high it may have been a point of appeal had the boosts been meaningful if in contests AND if they exceeded the top orange base or green lightning levels. STIIL PLENTY of time but it would have just began things on a MUCH higher level AND MOST IMPORTANTLY KEPT ENTHUSIASM HIGH Instead of the cooling down affect it’s had… just an easy avoid.
