Yarn Loop: Knit Puzzle

I play a lot of these kind of puzzle games and I genuinely came in expecting slop: something poorly optimized with intrusive ads and stolen assets or art. But the game runs pretty dang well, and ads are only set between levels as they should be. The further in I get the more I find the pixel art extremely charming, and even when it’s referencing something it’s still clear someone made it by hand. (To the millenial sneaking those in btw, I see you.) I love and highly respect originality and human work in the current landscape of mobile games. I do wish that there was a way to get more coins when I’m really stuck without having to spend money, but that’s my only feedback. This one is a real keeper for me!

Really am/was living game. Initially started playing through a rewards program to earn a bit of money but very much enjoy playing. That is until last night when suddenly the game just shut down. After trying several different things to get app to reopen I checked my App Store and saw there was an update to the app so I did that to no avail. So to bed I went. This morning still no luck. Then this afternoon I decided to restart my phone. Well surprisingly that did the trick. I was so very happy. I was back in the game and back to making my bit of extra spending money. That is I was … for three whole levels and then I made the decision to finally after my paycheck hit to purchase the “No Ads” option and what do you know but the game shut down on me again I’ve not been able to get it back up. So now I’m out my $8 for no ads and can’t play my new fun game or make my pocket money. So…. Five star game but sadly Zero star app performance. Feel a little taken advantage of 😞. I could attempt uninstalling and reinstalling app and would probably work except I’d lose my ability to complete my money making task. Which is t a huge deal but it is the principle of this. It caps out at a relatively low amount and after that this is a game I would continue to play. To earn the max amount I would have had to reach level 2600 in 90 days I had two days in and was at level 262 so… anyway I’m really disappointed and unsure what I should do or want to do. Any one have any ideas or advice?

Overall fun game but as always ads are annoying. Some ads make you play a game to progress past it! WHY!?!? I just end up reporting every one of those ads since there is no close ad button on it. As far as the game itself, I made it past level 1000 before the latest update that added a lot of bloat so we’ll see how annoying or helpful that gets. As far as winning the levels. Some are a lot harder and they do have a set path to follow to win. If you are not paying attention very carefully you will miss that path every time. There are some levels I feel like I must pay that 100 coin for the +1 bobbin on the board to win. Not sure if I’m just missing the path but that’s how I won those levels. I never have nor will I ever pay for a booster nor game currency to progress. No game should ever be so difficult or problematic I would have to pay extra just to continue. And all of you better not either. No game is worth it. EVER! Just move on to another game. There are so many out there.
