So the app itself is great and the stories I’m listening too are actually really good the only issue I have is the waiting part to unlock new episodes and the fact there is no way around it god forbid I buy some tokens wich in guilty of because I’m dying to know what happens next on my vampire system (highly recommend)if you earn or buy coins when you get ahead on episodes instead of the wait being the next few hours or within 24 hours they end up jumping from a few hours essentially the next day to 48 hour wait for like 2 or 3 episodes and one other thing that kinda has me reluctant to buy anymore coins is the prices and the price itself isn’t bad but what ruins buying coins is before buying coins episodes are one coin to unlock and further down they may say 2 coins to unlock but as you start to unlock episodes you end up depleting your coins super fast because outta nowhere after a few episodes for one or two coins as you progress episodes jump to being 5 coins 7 coins per unlock of a episode and that is what ruins buying coins no bang for your buck what you end up paying 50$ worth in coins can be earned doing tasks in a matter of a hour or two just grinding tasks and even then after earring all those coins they are gone that very same day if they didn’t raise the wait time and amount of coins to unlock episodes I’d be more likely to just buy the coins instead of wasting my time doing tasks it either then that this is a great app

I’ve been using this app for about a year now. Overall I like it, but some of the stories just seem a bit too dramatic for my taste. I’m the type of person who will never pay for coins to listen to stories, which means I don’t mind watching ads to unlock more episodes to a story I like. The main problem I have had is, that the app sometimes has an issue with remembering how many ads I have watched, or if I step away from my phone for a minute or two and come back to my phone after the ad is complete and try and move forward, all my ad progress is lost. Imagine watching 9 ads and on the 10th and final ad to unlock more episodes, there is an error loading the ad or for some reason the ad screen just closes and all your progress is lost. This is by far the most frustrating part about this feature. Devs should do a better job to track the number of ads watched per series so if a network error happens it doesn’t screw over the person who spent 10 minutes watching ads so they could listen to another 2 episodes. The 2nd issue I think devs should fix is the automatic addition of audio series’s into your library, which automatically play after one of your other series’s episodes are finished. Some audio books were added to my Library and started playing. I fell asleep and when I woke up, I realized this audio series was the most annoying series I’ve ever heard in my life. I tried removing the series, but since I had listed to episodes, the app just automatically plays this series was every day and puts it back into my library, super annoying! Besides those two issues I think the app is pretty decent.

My only complaint is that you can only hear a few chapters or episodes & then you have to wait usually 20 hours for them to open. The first time I was really enjoying the book & it said that this would be the last episode. When I downloaded the App, this week it gave me 10 free coins, so I used 9 of them to open more episodes. I’m a single mom of 3 so it’s very difficult to find time to sit & enjoy a book. So when it cut off again, I decided to treat myself to a $4.99 pack; which included some extra free tokens. I began listening again and then it stopped again. It had said open for 9 tokens but I had bought more than that, plus with the free ones, it should have lasted longer. Waiting 20+ hours for more episodes to open after listening to only 5 episodes is just too long. Then I started looking ahead, to see if every day, more would open. I’ll still have to wait or purchase more, as some that I’m listening to now don’t open for months (June, August, September) for episodes to open. That’s just too long; especially most people like to read/listen to a book within a month or two. I get that creators need to make money off of their Apps but if I can find this series at the library on audiobooks, then why would I spend money & not own it for good. Besides, it’s not like it’s a classic novel by Jane Austin, it’s just a guilty pleasure of a fantasy novel. That shouldn’t cost anyone $50-$60, if I’ve calculated each time I’ll be asked to pay to listen to it!
