Blood pressure LOG, not readings
Just a note to people who might download this app: while it’s interesting for pulse taking, the advertising copy that I received emphasized blood pressure and didn’t make it clear that it was just a log, a digital diary to input blood pressure readings. So for those of you who have an Apple Watch as I do, this app really doesn’t provide anything above that. Not a bad app and does what it does… Just not a blood pressure taking app, and while that’s clear on this application’s description in the App Store, it was less clear in their advertising.

Heartbeat of America ...
This is a very interesting app. I’m going to try this evaluation the next time I am at my doctors’ office. Not because don’t trust the app but just an innocent comparison between the results of each. I wonder if any doctors, CRNPs, and/or nurses of all degrees have endorsed this app. I also wonder what doctors at super hospitals like The Mayo Clinic or UAB Hospital & their entire medical group has recommended this app to anyone. It would be nice to know the answers to these questions. Certain hospitals and medical groups have such amazingly high standards and ratings that it would really make this app sell and be more reliable if some of the big dogs in the medical field did suggest it to their patients. Word of mouth will talk over as this could really save someone that’s having heart issues. It’s amazing how hearing something from reputable sources and/or trusted people in general can make others want to be more aware of their own heart health. And that’s the whole goal here right? ♥️⚕️🫀🩺

MISLEADING ADVERTISING AND DENIED REFUND!
I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others before they waste their money the way I did. I purchased this app for $39 because the advertising clearly gives the impression that it can measure blood pressure by placing your finger over your phone’s camera. The screenshots and promotional images strongly suggest that the app can provide actual blood pressure readings using the phone alone. That’s what convinced me to buy it. After purchasing and installing the app, I quickly discovered that it does not actually do what the advertisement led me to believe it could do. The marketing and the actual functionality are two very different things. As soon as I realized this, I immediately requested a refund. My request was denied. I then appealed the decision, explaining that the advertising was misleading and that I purchased the app based on those claims. That appeal was also denied. So now I’m out $39 for an app that did not deliver what its advertising appeared to promise. My biggest concern isn’t even the money. It’s that other consumers may see the same advertisements, believe the same claims, and end up making the same mistake. Health-related apps should be especially clear and transparent about what they can and cannot do. Consumers should not have to discover the limitations only after paying. If you’re considering buying this app because you think your phone camera can accurately measure your blood pressure simply by placing your finger over it, I strongly encourage you to do extensive research first and read the fine print carefully. I wish I had.
