The double touch function to close an article is completely unnecessary - nobody needs this function. Often when I open an article and scroll down the app closes the article because it thinks I double touched the screen. Then I have to get back into the article and find the section where I go kicked out. This happens all the time. Just have a cross at the top corner of the article window as a closing window function like ALL other apps have. Not sure what you software developer was thinking but the current design it’s SUPER frustrating. Love your newspaper but the app has major room for improvement!! Best, Carl

Stability has improved from previous versions. The app also allows forwarding of pages with advertisements, which is great. I wish clicking on the article still showed the photos; it currently only shows text. The app should also have an embedded language translator to broaden its appeal. At the very least, English would put readership on same footing as WSJ, FT, etc.

horrible and badly designed and unstable in many ways. good enough to read the paper, but don't expect anything beyond it. want to switch apps and get back to reading where you left? doesn't work, instead start over again with selecting the paper and scrolling through the horrible page navigation. want to click on a page number in a text at expect it to take you to the actual page, like on the web? doesn't work, find it youtself. want to control the space you're using? helpfully, all you can do is choose how many gigabytes you wan to use. there are many more things wrong with this app. it is not as unstable as it used to be for a long time, but still has serious reliability issues.
