Stop Motion Studio Pro

I’ve had this app for a little while now and have recently switched to Stop Motion Studios Pro and all I can say is well done. If you have ZERO EXPERIENCE with animating (Like I was) then there are tutorials to help you with that. They are really easy to follow and extremely helpful. I also like that you have the option to change the lighting before animating. But there are a couple of downsides. First of all you can’t layer the sounds to make your animation sound smoother. Second I wish that you had the option to change the color of specific frames instead of doing all of them. Third, your foreground can only be used on ALL your photos not an individual one. And finally the Media is for adding your own photos to the animation instead of directly taking pictures IN the app and unfortunately I, again, can’t turn MY photo into an individual stop motion photo without DOING ALL OF THEM. Other than that, this stop motion app is awesome and I recommend it to people who either want to animate and don’t know where to start or people who want to switch to a better animation app with more options. Pls consider these problems I have listed and fix them in later updates.

I have been a long time user of this app, dating all the way back to 2013. The app was always fantastic, and it worked so well. I stopped using it in 2015 when I got a camera but came back to the app in 2017 as it was easier for me to make proper stop motion animations using this app. I used it all the way up to 2019, and never had an issue with it. When I started animating again in 2022, same thing, flawless. However recently I’ve been having issues with the app. In the middle of 2023 I finished a big 16 episode project without flaws. But when I started working on the new season of the show, all of a sudden, the camera quits working. The viewing screen goes dark and says camera can’t be used. It’s a simple but annoying fix of closing out of the project and going back in. However when you go back into the project, (even if you haven’t moved your tripod/ camera the slightest bit) the frame is off by a decent amount. Now the newest thing that has started happening is I will be taking a picture and suddenly the frame will bump down and then bump back up. Causing weird camera movements that’s impossible to get rid of unless I reshoot the entire scene. I thought it was just me touching the camera until I tested it a couple times but the frame only bumps down and even when you have the remote feature activated. It’s extremely frustrating, because I love this app. It allows me to make the videos I want and to tell the stories I create, but this is a very infuriating flaw that I really hope gets fixed.

I have been using Stop Motion Studio Pro for over 4 years now. It has always been helpful to me when trying to make my stop motions. However, recently I have come across a HUGE dilemma. A couple of months ago, I was unable to zoom in or out for some reason even though I have been able to before that, since I had a device that can zoom in and out. Now I'm pretty sure I downloaded an update before that, I don't know which one though. So the first thing I decided to do was exit the app, and re-enter it. I was still unable to zoom in or out. Then I deleted the app, and re-downloaded it. It still did not work. I've tried almost everything. I went to my camera application to see if zooming still worked. And it did. But zooming in and out on your app did not. You might be wondering why I think zooming in and out is so important, and that is because it allows me to have certain angles that are essential to my stop motion films. If you could help me out somehow, I'd really appreciate it. I love you rap and I hope I will be able to continue using it in the way I need. Please help, Ethan.
