From the very beginning I have admired the brilliance behind resX. The best restaurants and events occur in the busiest most unpredictable cities. Having to make a last minute cancellation for something fabulous in tandem getting charged for it is an awful feeling. ResX alleviates this pressure and curates the perfect win-win situation where one person is free from their cancellation charges and the other snags a last minute ‘impossible to get’ reservation. This type of service is such a luxury and has allowed my friends and family to enjoy the best plans without any planning. Thank you to all the people that brought this amazing app to life. ResX is the best!!!

Great App with plenty of uses, however, I’ve given up a few reservations through ResX and I feel they could do a better job protecting those who offer quality reservations. Of the reservations I gave, they happen to be because either I couldn’t make it or some other plans came up. I submitted these reservations a few days in advance and they were all claimed, or so I thought. Of those, after being claimed for basically a whole day, some of them were canceled within hours or minutes of the reservation when I had this booked for days and the restaurant would see my name if the person who “claimed” it doesn’t show up. This isn’t fair to someone that is trying to help out the community. I’d rather keep good standing with these restaurants and cancel right away than have to deal with random people canceling on my behalf last minute. Hoping this issue is fixed in the future.

ResX has changed the way my wife and I approach dining out in NYC. We’ve stopped making reservations weeks in advance and instead check ResX to make our weekend plans. The app is incredible - the ResX team had made it so easy to browse and book restaurants. Finding a great table used to be a burden and require patient advanced planning, now it’s a breeze. ResX is also a great means to discover new restaurants, the community is always posting reservations at interesting new spots. 10 stars!
