I have to pay..??
Our tv remote got chewed up by our puppy and couldn’t be used, so I decided to download this app. I literally pressed one button and it told me to pay! I pressed the little x in the corner but it still wouldn’t let me do anything. I gave it 5 stars so it’ll show, but it’s really a 1. So yeah, kinda disappointing. After the developer response: I don’t really understand how simple controls such as moving up and down and turning off the tv are “premium controls”. It’s honestly cheaper to just buy a new remote.

Not Worth the Money
I downloaded the iMote Remote app expecting a convenient way to control my TV and other devices, but it’s a complete disappointment. Why would anyone pay for this when free official remote apps from Fire TV, LG, Samsung, Roku, and others already do a much better job? The app feels clunky, slow to connect, and often loses connection mid-use. The interface is outdated and not nearly as smooth or responsive as the built-in manufacturer apps. Basic functions like volume control and input switching are laggy, and half the “premium” features feel like things that should be standard in any remote app. Save your money. Stick with the free remote apps that come with your Fire TV, LG, or other smart devices—they’re faster, more reliable, and don’t nickel-and-dime you for basic functionality. This app is not worth paying for at all.

UPDATED /CORRECTION :with wifi remote app works just like traditional remote !
Updating from previous review. I incorrectly accused this app of charging me during free trial period , it was just an unfortunate coincidence that an App Store charge for a different app occurred at the exact time I downloaded this app. So apologies to the developer. USING WITH FREE TRIAL CURRENTLY, APP WORKS AS ADVERTISED. Thank you for following up with me.
