i usually am a silent lurker with the apps i use but this app!! this app is so super fun!! the software is very receptive to what your input is into it while still referencing details relevant to your chosen fandom! you have the option to go as in depth or as surface level for your own character development and the AI immediately adapts to that and makes you as storyline that makes sense for who you're playing. it doesn't just generate basic traits – it helps you explore your character's goals and interactions/relationships with other characters. what really sets this app apart from any other character ai app out there is the way your character evolves and how that affects the other characters around them. as you play outmore scenes and interact with the characters, the ai picks up on that and helps your character grow naturally over time. the way it tracks bits, remembers past events, and suggests potential development paths based on their experiences really aids in your world building. you can have as much creativity with as you need. i enjoy getting to write my own scenarios, but when i'm stuck, the app generates situation-specific scenarios that feel perfectly tailored to my character's personality and background. i would recommend this app to fanfic writers, socmed au makers, or anyone who has wanted a internet-culture oriented way to imagine themselves/an oc in canon. hoping the best on status' future endeavours and thank you to everyone involved in making this app!

Listen, this app is such mindless fun. It really is! I love the way it feels like chatbot services mixed with twitter. It’s amazing! My only real problem? The energy. I know, I know… they eventually intend to patch this and make energy a non-issue. But as of right now, you’re out of energy (I feel like) as soon as you really get invested and you have to wait a full 24 hours, or you can pay real money but it’s only worth 8 energy. I know that it’s already been stated that they don’t want to go for a subscription service, but I think it would be amazing as I know that many people would be willing to spend a bit of cash every month to either get infinite energy / more energy, etc. and then you could always tweak what the subscription service does after removing energy & coffee, such as early access to all beta features, more customization options, better models, etc. I do understand why energy has to be implemented - the servers just can’t handle a ton of people. But the energy being my only real issue says a lot! Yes, the model is a little off sometimes but no ai will ever be perfect in that regard, so that’s not a big deal to me. The model will get better along with the memory, I’m sure. Honestly, I think some other solutions to the energy issues could be simply making it regenerate faster (instead of having to wait 24 hours, wait only 4 or 6), making coffee refill more than 8 energy bars, implementing waiting times so that the server doesn’t get overloaded, making it so that energy doesn’t run out daily but that it caps and refills slowly over time after a certain point, and more!

feels like actual social media without the vitriol. But be warned, the influx of 1 star reviews are disingenuous and a result of immaturity. People saying the devs haven’t updated in months and aren’t fixing bugs are being dishonest because they know full well that the staff tries their best to do so whenever it’s reported. They are consistent with their announcements regarding bugs and updates. So what is this really stemming from? Subscriptions. Yes, it is unfortunate they had to turn to subscriptions but the dev were very transparent about the costs to them keep this app afloat. They didn’t want to do it. They would have preferred to keep the app for free but they could afford yo and they were honest about it. The ones making these bad reviews literally came together in the server because as one asmitted, they are teens and dont have jobs so they can’t pay for the subscriptions. It may have been promised at one point that the app would remain free but costs to devs is not something they can control and unfortunately some promises have to be broken. Not out of malice but because there is nothing more they can’t do and it is out of their hands. That’s how the world is. Time to grow up to realize that.
