BettingPros: Picks & Odds

Wow this is def one of the best apps for analytics and player prop projections — literally factors in defensive matchup all season, last 7 games, last 10 etc. You kinda have to use your own judgement to make the best picks obviously and navigate through the app but once you adjust to it I promise you’re gonna find quality picks. I think somewhat experienced bettors would have a lot of success. I also love the same game parlay feature, super cool. One thing I am curious about tho is if they factor in minutes/ usage due to injuries in their projections .. that’s not clear to me - but have to use your own judgement and stay informed when it comes to that as well

The app is Ok, however my biggest complaint are the problems syncing my sports books. I use 5 different books and I have nothing but trouble with Hard Rock. At least once per week I can’t sync for some reason. This issue usually and randomly self corrects a day or two later. In the meantime, my statistics are incorrect and settled wagers aren’t calculated. While this may seem minor to some, this is important for me. Another issue with Hard Rock is the lag time for showing bets as settled. Many times, my HR bets will Remain in Upcoming for up to 2 days before it shows as settled. Again this skews my statistics. I also have trouble with ESPNbet. I am only able to sync ESPNbet when I am home. I don’t use a vpn so I don’t know why this continues with no clear solution. I have contacted support in the past but I’m always told to follow steps in the faq which of course I’ve already tried prior to contacting support so it ends up being overly frustrating and don’t end up with a positive resolution. I am currently a premium member and don’t expect to renew in the next few months because of these ongoing forever issues. Overall the bad outweighs the good and can’t recommend this app to others at this time

In terms of free apps, this is absolutely the BEST one of them all, no other app can compare (excluding strictly paid ones). It does have a couple of very serious issues however, for example sometimes they’ll go the entire day without providing statistics for players that are playing that day, if not entire TEAMS, not always but sometimes. So it leaves a lot of unused space for what could’ve been potential picks. Another thing is that sometimes, the matchups will be incorrect which’ll affect the “head to head” statistics when you’re unknowingly comparing teams that aren’t going up against each other that day. Those two things are the main issues with this app. I previously tried the paid subscription and as of right now I don’t find much worth in it when other apps would also charge you for much better statistics. I often find some of their predictions to be random at best, considering the fact that the history and statistics of the players contradict whatever their predictions are (something I’ve tested several times and have been right about). But then again, this is a free app, and for what you get with no pay? It’s a great app. But asking for the subscription option when there’s simple issues like what I’ve listed above isn’t right. One more nitpick I do have is how late the props are posted. Another app I’ve moved to (which I won’t name out of respect for BettingPros), provides statistics the night before. Allowing you to get started with tomorrow’s picks hours before midnight. That’s something I’ve longed for months!! If BettingPros could at the very least do this sometimes or post statistics around 7AM EST, it would automatically make my rating 1 star higher. But realistically all they have to do is fix those first two issues I listed and I would at least give them a four star rating
